NBA free agency officially starts Friday at 3:00 p.m. PT, and the Warriors have some very important decisions to make.
How will they replace Klay Thompson, who is expected to miss the entire 2020-21 season after tearing his right Achilles tendon Wednesday?
"I think we needed wing depth anyway," president of basketball operations Bob Myers told reporters Wednesday night after the NBA draft. "We'll look there anyway no matter what."

Perhaps Garrett Temple is another player that will be added to the Warriors' wish list. A source told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday that the Brooklyn Nets are declining Temple's $5 million option, which will make him a free agent.
The 34-year-old had the best season of his career in 2019-20, averaging 10.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.8 steals over 62 games (35 starts).

He shot 33 percent from 3-point territory on 6.2 attempts per game, and has a reputation for being a guy you really want in your locker room.
"He's the greatest teammate I've ever had," Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal said in early August. "He's a true brother to me, a true mentor. I always credit him for teaching me how to be a true professional in the game of basketball and in the NBA."

The veteran journeyman can guard multiple positions, and would be a very solid addition to Golden State's bench.
The Warriors could use all or some of the $5.7 million taxpayer mid-level exception on Temple, but it's safe to assume they would like to sign him to a minimum contract (if they're interested at all).
