Warriors' splits bode well for crucial final six home games

The Warriors have six regular-season games remaining, and all of them will be played at Chase Center.

And that should be a good thing for Golden State, especially when you consider one specific statistic.

The Warriors have won 63.3 percent of their home games this season, compared to only 38.9 percent of their road games.

And that 24.4 percent difference is the second-largest in the NBA, per Sportradar.

It also helps that the Warriors' first two matchups are against the Oklahoma City Thunder, who have lost 18 of 19.

Things will get much tougher Monday when the Utah Jazz come to town. But the Warriors did beat the Jazz in San Francisco back on March 14, and Utah still could be without Donovan Mitchell.

The Phoenix Suns await Tuesday night, and it will be very difficult to pick up a win there.

The Warriors then get two full days off before taking on the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night. And a lot could be on the line when the Warriors host the Memphis Grizzlies next Sunday.

"Six games at home to finish the season is nice. That is kind of a trap, though," Steph Curry explained to the media Tuesday. "You can let your foot off the gas pedal because you're comfortable being at home [and] seeing our families.

"Being in familiar territory -- you gotta stay locked in mentally on the task at hand to finish out the season strong."
