Steph Curry and the Warriors became quite familiar with defenses focusing all of their attention on the star this season, and in last night's play-in tournament clash with the Los Angeles Lakers, four-time NBA MVP LeBron James got the same treatment.
Steph and LeBron are two of the NBA's most dangerous offensive players, and always are the first priority for an opponent's defense.
The Lakers' strategy of throwing double-teams at Curry seemed to pay off Wednesday night, as Steph committed five turnovers when facing multiple Lakers defenders.
James finished with a triple-double, scoring 22 points to go along with 11 rebounds and 10 assists. LeBron also finished with the Lakers' second-highest plus/minus (plus-13) behind Wesley Matthews.
The Warriors now return to the Bay Area to dust themselves off before a winner-take-all game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday at Chase Center, with the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference on the line.
