Zaza has obvious reason for Klay's increased social media usage

If you've been on Instagram recently, you undoubtedly noticed that Warriors star Klay Thompson has been quite active of late.

Thompson, who still is rehabbing from the torn Achilles tendon he suffered last November, posted a video of himself hooping in a full Larry Bird uniform Sunday in honor of Halloween. Then, on Monday, Thompson posted a video of himself jumping into the Bay while wearing the Warriors' new "Moments Mixtape" jerseys. On Tuesday, Thompson went on IG Live from his boat wearing a captain's hat.

So, what's the deal with the increased social media usage from Thompson? Warriors consultant Zaza Pachulia knows.

"He can't wait to come back!" Pachulia told 95.7 The Game's "The Morning Roast" on Tuesday when asked what was up with Thompson's recent influx of posts. "He's counting the days! He's counting the days! Oh my gosh."

When asked why he wasn't keeping a closer eye on his good friend, Pachulia lightly jabbed Thompson.

"Sorry guys, I left him for five minutes to go and take care of my other kids and look what happened, water," Pachulia said laughing. "So, I apologize. I'll do better next time."

Thompson also took to social media recently to decry being left off of the NBA 75 team, consisting of the best 76 players in the league's 75-year history.

Thompson is expected to return to the court within the next few months, and it's clear he has the itch to remind everyone of how great he and the Warriors are.
