College Basketball continues tonight with a massive 125-game slate, including seven ACC matchups.

With so many games and NFL Wild Card matchups taking place, it is nearly impossible for the sportsbooks to keep up with all the lines. Therefore there will be opportunities to find substantial value within the spread and total markets.

Below is a table showing a snapshot of each ACC team’s straight-up record, their against the spread (ATS) record, and their Over and Under record:

With that said, let’s jump into my favorite ACC College Basketball bets for Saturday’s slate. All odds are reflective at the time of writing.

Best Bet #1 - Florida State +2.5 (-110 PointsBet)

The Florida State Seminoles will head to Upstate New York to take on the Syracuse Orange. This game should be a pick ‘em, so I believe we are getting great value grabbing the Seminoles at +2.5.

Florida State is beginning to find its groove. They have won back-to-back games, and given the matchup advantages over the Orange, the Seminoles should be able to continue their momentum. Florida State is one of the lengthiest teams in the nation, which allows them to block opposing teams shot attempts and quickly disrupt clean looks out of the perimeter. Kenpom ranks Florida State 31st in defensive efficiency allowing only 94.7 points per 100 possessions. Moreover, they have held their opponents to 32.8% from behind the arc in their last three games, which is where Syracuse takes nearly 40% of its shot attempts.

While the Seminoles are playing great defense, they have struggled to put the ball in the basket, ranking tenth in the ACC for field goal percentage. That said, they should be able to find a rhythm tonight and keep this game close, as the Orange are ranked 200th in defensive efficiency and allow teams to shoot an effective field goal percentage of 50.8%.

Take Florida State down to +2. If it gets any lower than that, play a half unit on the Money Line at plus odds.

Best Bet #2 - Notre Dame /Virginia Tech Over 132 (-110 PointsBet)

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will visit Cassell Coliseum to battle the Virginia Tech Hokies in an ACC showdown. While the bookmakers set a fair line on the spread for this matchup, the total is where you can find value. Pointsbet has the Over/Under set to 132, with individual totals for Virginia Tech at 69.5 and Notre Dame at 62.5.

Virginia Tech has recently struggled offensively, scoring just 61.67 points in its previous three games while shooting 42.67% from the field. That said, the Hokies still rank 49th in offensive efficiency and shoot an effective field goal percentage of 53.1%. Therefore, we should expect to see positive regression in their shot-making ability, especially given that the Irish have allowed a true shooting rating of 104.3% to opponents this season.

On the other side, the Irish are averaging 74 points in their last three games and are capable of scoring from anywhere on the court, as four of their players are scoring in the double-digits. The Hokies are a strong side defensively, allowing just 58.4 points per game. However, the two times they have played a team ranked within the top-60 of Kenpoms offensive efficiency ratings, they have given up 75+ points. Notre Dame is ranked 42nd, so I am expecting nothing different tonight.

I am comfortable taking this over up to 134.
