Vaughn Dalzell shares his best bet for the New York Yankees against the Cleveland Guardians.

We will continue to ride the Gerrit Cole train as the Yankees are 6-0 on the ML with Cole on the mound.
The AL Cy Young favorite is 5-0 himself with a 1.11 ERA and 44 strikeouts to 11 walks and five earned runs. Cole has yet to allow a home run this season and he has one earned run in four home games.
I was on the Guardians ML at +110 odds yesterday and despite having one hit and being down 2-0 in the top of the ninth inning, Cleveland came through with the win, which makes me like this spot for New York even more.
Five of New York’s six games with Cole on the mound resulted in six or fewer runs and Cole has yet to surrender more than two in any game. Current Guardians’ hitters own a .193 BA against Cole over 183 plate appearances, along with a 31.7 K%.
Tanner Bibee makes his second career start and first road start. Bibee hosted the Rockies on April 26 and permitted six hits, one earned run and eight strikeouts over 5.2 innings. Bibee earned the win, but a road win against the Yankees will be tougher than facing the Rockies at home.
This could be another low-scoring outing, so I lean the Under 7 and Cleveland Team Total Under 3.0, but my best bet is New York to win this outright at -160 odds with Cole on the mound once again.
