Vaughn Dalzell breaks down how he’s betting Klay Thompson‘s props in Game 6 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors.
Klay Thompson O/U 21.5 Points vs. Lakers
Over the past two games, Klay Thompson scored 19 total points on 6-of-23 from the field (26%) and 5-of-15 from three (33%).
Historically, Thompson has balled out in Game 6, earning him the nickname Game 6 Klay.
In Game 6 this postseason, Thompson scored 22 points versus the Kings, plus dropped 30 and 12 points last year’s playoffs. Before that, Thompson scored 30, 27, 9, 35, 25 and 41 points over Game 6’s dating back to 2015-16.
In that nine-game span, Thompson averaged 25.6 points per game and hit 22 or more points in seven of those nine games.
After two poor shooting performances, I expect Thompson to be active and chucking triples in Game 6. Thompson’s averaged 10.2 three-point attempts out go 16.0 field goal attempts per game in the series.
I grabbed Thompson over 21.5 Points at -120 odds and let’s hope Game 6 Klay shows up.
Pick: Klay Thompson Over 21.5 Points (1u)
