Only four games on the NBA slate this evening. To me, it looks like a night to bet games live. There is one game that I have a good feeling about. The Atlanta Hawks and the New York Knicks from the World’s Most Famous Arena. Odds via PointsBet.

Atlanta Hawks vs. New York Knicks (+2.5) Total: 226.5

The Hawks and the Knicks meet for the fourth and final time this season tonight in Madison Square Garden. The Knicks have won all three previous matchups. These teams met in the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs last season. This season, neither of these teams will likely make the playoffs. As the 10th seed in the East, the Hawks will grab the final spot in the play-in tournament. The Knicks will head into another disappointing offseason.

Despite their poor season, the Knicks have shown no quit. They have actually won five of their last eight games. They played well on a recent road trip, beating the Clippers, Kings and Mavericks. They then came home and won two of three. Tonight they will look to sweep the Atlanta on the season. Julius Randle will be out for the Knicks tonight, which may end up being a good thing.

The Hawks are 6-4 straight up in their last 10 games; although you would not know that if you have been betting on them recently. Atlanta is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games and has been terrible against the spread all season. The Hawks are 29-42 (40%) ATS on the season. They are 10-24 (29%) ATS on the road and 3-8 ATS as road favorites.

It’s rare that I back New York. In my sports betting career, the Knicks have been the authors of some of my worst bad beats. Tonight is probably the second time all season I have wagered on the Knicks. I like them on the Spread and on the Money Line. I’m sure it will be a roller coaster.

Edge: Knicks +2.5
