On the latest episode of Bet the Edge, Jay Croucher and Drew Dinsick preview what bettors could be gaining an early edge on before the pivotal showdown between the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night, and what it means to the AFC for the rest of the season.

Jay and Drew dissect what to expect in one of the most important games of the season where the Chargers are catching four points on the road at the Chiefs. Jay discusses what the best strategy is on wagering in the AFC West market before Kansas City (+120) and LA (+165) square off, and if there is an approach later on in the season. Drew takes a look at the AFC race with Buffalo (+300), Kansas City (+400), and Los Angeles (+750) regarded as the tier 1 teams. He believes tonight’s result will greatly impact the market movement for at least the next two months. The pair highlight how the MVP market will drastically change should Patrick Mahomes (+400) and the Chiefs prove victorious, or if Justin Herbert (+700) and the Chargers can pull off a big upset. They decide if LAC has the horses to grab this high leverage game that will send ripple effects in the the MVP market.

Drew is looking at the Total (54.5), while Jay is eying Jerick McKinnon‘s receiving yards (15.5) as the first leg of their boosted three game parlay (+565 to +700), which also include the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2.5) and Miami Dolphins (+3.5).
