The Daily Deuce did not cash today at Wimbledon. Liam Broady not only won a set vs. Diego Sebastian Schwartzman, but won the match taking the 5th set by the score of 6-1. Bianca Andresscu was a decent favorite heading into her match against Elena Ryabakina but was shown the door in straight sets. Other winners included Rafael Nadal, Iga Swiatek, and Stefanos Tsitsipas. They each advanced on Thursday to the 3rd round.
Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic are both in action Friday. Each is seeking a spot in the quarterfinals. Alcaraz (-300) takes on Oscar Otte while Djokovic is an even larger favorite (-10000) against Miomir Kecmanovic. Ons Jabeur is in action for the women as well on Friday. The 3rd seed is -1500 to reach the quarterfinals.
