The injury-plagued Bruins’ problems are worse than expected, as David Krejci is out for Game 1 of the first round against the Senators.
Krejci, who missed Tuesday’s practice with an upper-body injury, took line rushes prior to the game on the second line with Drew Stafford and David Pastrnak. Television cameras caught him talking with the team doctor by the bench during warmups, however, and his status was confirmed as out just before the game.
With Krejci out, Sean Kuraly is in the lineup.
Krejci becomes the B's biggest absence up front; the team is also without a pair of top-four defensemen in Torey Krug (lower-body) and Brandon Carlo (upper-body).
