Tuesday, Nov. 15: Recchi deserves Hall of Fame

Share

Here are all the links from around the hockey world, and what I’m reading while really hoping that Mark Recchi is a part of next year’s Hockey Hall of Fame ceremonies in Toronto.

*Eric Lindros delivered an emotional Hockey Hall of Fame speech where he brought his brother on stage with him.

*Speaking of the Hockey Hall of Fame, Recchi is among the names expected to be called to the Hall next season, and it should have already happened when you look at the player’s numbers and playoff resume.

*The plans for an outdoor game with the Ottawa Senators are on thin ice as issues with the venue have cropped up.

*The entire season has been a big adjustment to P.K. Subban as he gets used to life as a member of the Nasvhille Predators.

*I agree with much of what Larry Brooks writes here bemoaning how removing all the big hitting from the NHL will materially change the game.

*One month into the season, here’s a discussion of “what’s real” and what might not continue over the course of an entire season.

*For something completely different: Congrats to Billy Burt’s son, Max, who was named a captain of the Northeastern baseball team as an underclassman. That’s quite an honor for the shortstop.
