FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Don Sweeney apparently is close to making his second major trade of the day, this one involving Milan Lucic.

According to Elliotte Friedman of TSN, medical clearance is all that's needed for a deal sending Lucic to the Los Angeles Kings to be completed. Freidman says the Bruins would receive the Kings' first-round pick, the 13th overall selection; backup goaltender Martin Jones, and defense prospect Colin Miller. If true, Boston would have the 13th (L.A.'s), 14th (their own) and 15th (Calgary's) picks in the first round.
