For the third straight season the Boston Bruins will once again be in the market for a backup goaltender.

According to a report out of Russia, restricted free agent Niklas Svedberg has signed a one-year deal with Salavat of the KHL.

In 18 games Svedberg had a 7-5-1 record with a 2.33 goals against average and .918 save percentage.

Over the past three seasons the Bruins have had three different backup goalies in Anton Khudobin, Chad Johnson and Svedberg.
