BOSTON – The Celtics won more games last season (53) than any team in the Eastern Conference.

With the blockbuster trade to land Kyrie Irving becoming official Wednesday night, the good folks in Las Vegas are banking on a Green team repeat.

MORE ON THE TRADE

According to the betting site Bovada, the over/under for Celtics' wins this season is 55 1/2 - tops among all Eastern Conference teams.

Cleveland, the reigning Eastern Conference champions who traded Irving for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, a 2020 second-round pick (from Miami) and a 2018 unprotected first-round pick (from Brooklyn), has an over/under of 53 1/2 for wins this season.

No surprise, the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors are expected to run away with the best regular-season record this season, with an over/under of 67 1/2 wins.

At the other end of the spectrum, you'll find the Chicago Bulls, who have the lowest projected win total with an over/under of 22 wins.
