The shortest player to win NBA MVP is Allen Iverson. Allen Iverson is kind of tall compared to Isaiah Thomas.

The 5-foot-9 Thomas, who is enjoying the best season of his career, said at All-Star media day Friday in New Orleans that he aims to eventually win the award.

“One day, one of my goals is to be MVP of this league.” Thomas said. “They’ve never seen a small guy get it and that would be not just an achievement for myself, but all the little people out there.”

Iverson became the shortest player to win MVP when he won it in 2000-01 at 6-foot-0. Prior to that, Bob Cousy was the shortest to win it at 6-foot-1 in 1956-57.
