Five lessons learned about Celtics during West Coast trip

BOSTON – Back in town following a relatively successful West coast trip, the Boston Celtics (45-32) are totally locked into finishing out the season with a flurry.

During the five-game swing, we saw the good, the bad and the epically awesome that collectively form what we know as the playoff-bound Boston Celtics.

Long trips have a way of bringing a team together in ways no home stand can ever achieve, often forcing them to lean on no one other than those inside their locker room through the turbulent times that come about during a tightly contested playoff chase.

As important as it was for Boston to come through it with a winning (3-2) record, there were so many more teachings this group went through out West which have helped form a bond that has the makings of what should be a fun – and potentially deep – playoff run.

Here are five lessons we learned about the Celtics following their West coast trip.
