Celtics agree to training camp deal with guard Georges-Hunt

Marcus Georges-Hunt, a 6-5 guard from Georgia Tech who played on the Brooklyn Nets Summer League team, has joined a crowded Celtics roster and agreed to a non-guaranteed training camp deal.

An undrafted free agent, Georges-Hunt, 23, played four years at Georgia Tech (averaging 16.7 points, 3.3 assists) and is the 19th player on the Celtics' camp roster, one below the NBA maximum of 20.

The Celtics will need to get down to 15 players by the season opener on Oct. 26. Georges-Hunt could see time with the Celtics' D-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.
