MILWAUKEE – This season just keeps getting better and better for Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas.

The 5-foot-9 guard was named the Eastern Conference’s Player of the Week after leading the Celtics to a 4-0 record which included a 104-103 win at Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland.

In the four games, Thomas averaged 20.3 points, 7.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.

His strong play has been part of a Celtics’ stretch of success which has led to wins in nine of their last 10 games.

The Western Conference Player of the week Feb. 1-7, was San Antonio’s LaMarcus Aldridge who led the Spurs to a 4-0 week while averaging 26.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game.
