The Boston Celtics continue to search for a consistent shooter to make a solid contribution night in and night out.

That search might push rookie R.J. Hunter into the rotation earlier than expected.

Hunter made his NBA debut on Wednesday night and recorded his first career points. While he was happy to make his debut, the rookie guard knows there’s still work to be done.

“I did some good things. A lot of things I’ve got to work on, just like mechanical things on defense. Still learning every day,” said Hunter. “For my debut, it was solid. A long way to go, for sure.”
