La La Anthony goes off on official after Carmelo's ejection

Carmelo Anthony’s ejection from Friday’s loss to the Celtics was for what official Tony Brothers said was “bad language.” His wife doesn’t seem to buy it that.

Anthony was ejected in the second quarter of Boston’s 115-87 victory, with his back-and-forth with Brothers beginning when he was called for diving onto Amir Johnson while going for a loose ball. Brothers intimated that Anthony mouthed off in reaction to the call, leading to his first technical foul of the game and, eventually, a second.

After Anthony was tossed, wife La La Anthony tweeted that Brothers’ treatment of Anthony in the game was personal.

Seemingly told of La La’s tweet, Brothers responded by saying there was no issue, yielding another tweet from La La.

La La followed up with a third tweet containing foul language in which she expressed frustration with seeing calls go against her husband.
