BOSTON -- Celtics guard Marcus Smart is a bit lighter in the pocket today after being hit with a $25,000 fine by the NBA for “making an obscene gesture” during Boston’s 111-97 Game 2 loss to Chicago.
The incident occurred with 6:07 to play in the game, and was sparked by a fan getting on Smart about taking a shot that was off the mark.
