Listen to the latest episode of "The '86 Celtics Interviews" podcast with NBA Hall of Famer Robert Parish, who tells some entertaining stories on a memorable season. This episode has been broken into two parts.

In Part 1 of this episode, "The Chief" talks about the addition of Bill Walton, and how it specifically helped him become a better player to play everyday in practice against him. Walton also taught Parish about "The Grateful Dead", who had him "shaking his little butt" during a concert in Worcester.

Plus, Parish, Bird and McHale were all great players, but their personalities were very different. How did it make for such a successful trio?

Make sure and download Part 2 to hear about the Celtics playoff run, including strategy against a young Michael Jordan, and what then Bucks coach Don Nelson said to really anger and motivate Parish in the conference finals.

In Part 2 of "The '86 Celtics Interviews" with Robert Parish, "The Chief" discusses the memorable playoff run by Boston that took them through a young Michael Jordan, the "perfect quarter" vs Atlanta, motivation driven by anger over something Bucks head coach Don Nelson said publicly, and a challenging series against Hakeem Olajuwon and Ralph Sampson in the Finals.

Parish talks about how he and the team had an epic celebration after the Finals.

Parish also talks about the team losing Len Bias, and two of his good friends, Reggie Lewis and Dennis Johnson.
