After Wednesday’s loss Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas told reporters, “something’s got to change. I don’t know what it is.”

How about Isaiah Thomas in the starting lineup?

The Celtics point guard has made it clear in the past that he would prefer to be in the starting lineup, and Gary Tanguay thinks the time is now to make the transition.

“I’m a fan of Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley, but the best in the backcourt is Isaiah Thomas,” said Tanguay. “I understand the strategy because you bring him off the bench, your starting five does a great job, you bring him off the bench and you continue with the offensive push. Well that starting five hasn’t been shooting the ball well.”
