The Red Sox have other things on their mind these days -- namely, their upcoming Division Series matchup with the Astros -- but they may soon be dealing with an opening on their coaching staff.

NBC Sports Philadelphia reported today that Sox bench coach Gary DiSarcina, in his first year on the job, has emerged as a candidate for the open Phillies managerial job. DiSarcina worked with current Philadelphia GM Matt Klentak in the Angels' front office earlier this decade.

The other names mentioned are former Sox bench coach Tim Bogar, currently the Mariners' bench coach, and former Tigers manager Brad Ausmus.
