Chris Forsberg joins NBC Sports Boston as a Celtics Insider

NBC Sports Boston announced that veteran NBA/Celtics journalist Chris Forsberg joins the network as a Celtics Insider beginning today, Monday, Sept 24.  Forsberg will focus on coverage of the Celtics contributing his expertise to the network’s multi-platform content offerings. He joins fellow Celtics Insider A. Sherrod Blakely on the beat.

Prior to joining NBC Sports Boston, Forsberg spent nine years covering the Celtics for ESPN. A graduate of Northeastern University, Forsberg started his Journalism career as a college intern at the Boston Globe and spent three years at, where he won an Emmy for his multimedia coverage of the Celtics’ title season in 2008. Forsberg lives in Auburn, Mass., with his wife, Nicole, and two daughters, Zoe and Lexie.

Zolak and Bertrand simulcast to debut on NBC Sports Boston

Boston, MA (July 18, 2018) - Beasley Media Group and NBC Sports Boston will team up to launch the highly anticipated simulcast of WBZ-FM/ 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Zolak and Bertrand Midday Show beginning Monday, July 23rd, 2018. This will mark the first time the popular radio show will be available to TV audiences, throughout New England and across the country, on NBC Sports Boston. “The Zolak and Bertrand Show” will air weekdays from 10 a.m. until 2p.m. on NBC Sports Boston, and on the NBC Sports app as well as the 98.5 Sports Hub app and

Through this partnership, NBC Sports Boston will also feature show content across its TV, online, mobile and social media platforms.

Since 2010, Felger & Massarotti’s, afternoon show which airs Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm, has been simulcast on NBC Sports Boston. 98.5 The Sports Hub will continue this simulcast as part of the multi-year agreement.

Scott Zolak is a former New England Patriot quarterback and Marc Bertrand is from Quincy and went to UMASS-Amherst to launch his sports radio career. Both Scott and Marc have been on 98.5 The Sports Hub since the station launched in August 2009.

Danielle Trotta joins NBC Sports Boston

BURLINGTON, MA, June 4, 2018 - NBC Sports Boston announced that on-air sports television personality Danielle Trotta will join the network beginning today, Monday, June 4, 2018.  Trotta will play a role in all of the network’s multi-platform programming offerings including her primary role as a new co-host of the network’s nightly studio show “Boston Sports Tonight”.

Prior to joining NBC Sports Boston, Trotta was most recently covering the auto-racing industry with roles at Sirus XM, co-host of NASCAR Race Hub and NASCAR Raceday Pre-race show on Fox Sports 1. Trotta started her career in high school, and after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, she worked for local station WBTV. She moved to Fox Sports in July 2010 where she had covered NASCAR and the NFL.
