2022 NHL Draft: Bruins trade third-round pick to Kraken for multiple selections

The Boston Bruins pulled off a Bill Belichick-like trade during Day 2 of the 2022 NHL Draft on Friday.

The Bruins sent their third-round pick at No. 91 overall to the Seattle Kraken for picks No. 117 (fourth round) and No. 132 (fifth round).ย

The Kraken selected forward Ben MacDonald with Boston's pick. MacDonald is from Weston, Mass.

The Bruins acquired this No. 91 overall selection from the Calgary Flames in the Dan Vladar trade last year.

Boston has made one pick in this draft so far -- Guelph Storm center Matthew Poitras at No. 54 overall in the second round.
