Boston Bruins' 2019 Stanley Cup Playoff run: A game-by-game recap

Share

If you think the Stanley Cup Playoffs have been going on for awhile, you're right.

Tuesday marks the two-month mark since the Bruins opened their playoff run with a 4-1 home loss to the Maple Leafs -- and now just one win stands between the B's and the seventh title in franchise history.

Over the past two months, Boston has experienced a seven-game battle against Toronto, a four-game sweep over Columbus, and an eight-game win streak spanning parts of three different series. The Bruins have experienced injuries to players like Matt Grzelcyk, Zdeno Chara, and Chris Wagner; officiating controversies in a couple of different series, thrilling victories, demoralizing defeats, suspensions, and inspiring moments both on and off the ice.

As Boston prepares for a winner-take-all Game 7 against the Blues Wednesday night, take a look back at how the Bruins got to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 2011.
