The NHL has handed down a five-game suspension for Brad Marchand following his elbow on Marcus Johansson on Tuesday night.

The suspension marks the sixth of Marchand's career, so his status as a repeat offender was the primary factor in the NHL Department of Player Safety's decision to sideline the Bruins winger for five games.
Despite the suspension, Marchand will still be invited to the All-Star Game.
