Bruins general manager Don Sweeney has been named a finalist for the 2019 NHL GM Of the Year award.
The NHL made the announcement on Thursday that Sweeney is in the running along with Hurricanes GM Don Waddell and Blues GM Doug Armstrong.
The winner will be revealed at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas on June 19.
Sweeney isn't the only Bruin nominated for an award. Patrice Bergeron, of course, was named a Selke Trophy finalist and aims to win the award for a record fifth time.
