The injury bug continues to bite the Boston Bruins.

Goaltender Linus Ullmark exited Thursday's game against the Ottawa Senators and was replaced by Jeremy Swayman in the second period. The team has yet to explain Ullmark's departure, but it appears he was removed from the game after taking a slapshot off his facemask.

Why Bruins' struggling power play is concerning before playoffs

Ullmark stopped all eight of the Senators shots he faced before the apparent injury. Swayman allowed Ottawa's first goal of the game 47 seconds into the second period.

Boston entered Thursday's action already down several players. Defensemen Hampus Lindholm and Brandon Carlo remain sidelined due to injury, as well as top scorer David Pastrnak.

The B's will hope to get healthy before the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin in May. Only eight games remain in the regular season.
