Bruins hand out end-of-season awards
Eddie Shore Award
Jake DeBrusk earned the Eddie Shore Award, which is given to the player that demonstrates exceptional hustle and determination. In his second NHL season, DeBrusk tallied 27 goals and 15 assists in 67 games played. The 22-year-old is one of just 11 Bruins ever to reach the 27-goal mark in their second year.
Elizabeth Dufresne Trophy
For the third straight season, Brad Marchand was selected for the Elizabeth Dufresne Trophy for his outstanding performance during Bruins home games. It is the third straight season in which he has received the award. Marchand leads the team with 21 goals and 40 assists for 61 points at TD Garden.
John P. Bucyk Award
Zdeno Chara earned the John P. Bucyk Award for his contributions to the Boston community. The veteran B's defenseman participated in the Bruins’ Pucks and Paddles event, which benefitted Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. Chara also teamed up with non-profits Cradles to Crayons and DCF Wonderfund for the fourth straight year. He recently joined up with New Balance and Soles4Souls to donate shoes for children in need. All of those contributions are just a small sample of what Chara has done for the community.

1. Brad Marchand: 21 goals and 40 assists for 61 points with a plus-14 rating at home.
2. Patrice Bergeron: 21 goals and 29 assists for 50 points with a plus-12 rating in 33 home games.
3. David Pastrnak: 21 goals with 25 assists for 46 points in 32 games at TD Garden.
All-time team leader in wins
Tuukka Rask was honored in an on-ice ceremony before puck drop for becoming the franchise’s all-time leader in wins. Rask passed Cecil “Tiny” Thompson with his 253rd career NHL victory on February 3 against the Capitals. He now has 265 career NHL wins in 494 career appearances.
