A Metallica drum set and a silver stick? Tuukka Rask is one lucky man.

The Boston Bruins honored Rask for his 500th NHL game played on Thursday night before their matchup with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the star goaltender received the above gifts in celebration of his milestone.

While the B's gave him some pretty sweet gifts, they also showed a heartfelt video with messages from former teammates Milan Lucic, Adam McQuaid, Dennis Seidenberg, Shawn Thornton, Anton Khudobin and Tim Thomas. Oh, and don't forget the awesome message from Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich.

He was especially pumped about the drum set.

Rask is 282-154-64 in his NHL career with a 2.28 goals against average and a .921 save percentage -- pretty impressive. What's even more impressive are his playoff stats -- 2.91 GAA and .927 SV% through 89 games.

Although he's sidelined with a concussion, the B's starting goaltender will get some much needed rest over the course of the week before gearing up for another potentially deep playoff run this season. Rask is 17-4-6 this campaign with a 2.27 GAA and .925 SV% with two shutouts.
