The Bruins made left winger Quinn Olson their second pick of the NHL Draft, selecting the 5-11, 170-pounder in the third round on Saturday with the 92nd pick overall.

Olson, 18, from Calgary, is bound for the University of Minnesota-Duluth, which this spring won its second consecutive NCAA championship and where Olson's future teammate Karson Kuhlman played.

Olson had 20 goals and 46 points for Okotoks Oilers of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Our own Joe Haggerty tweets that Olson could compare to another undersized, yet feisty Bruin.

The B's took center John Beecher with their first-round pick (30th overall) Friday night. Next up is pick No. 154 in the fifth round.
