The Bruins-Panthers game that was snowed out by the Jan. 4 "bomb cyclone" snowstorm has been rescheduled for April 8, thanks to the Celtics.

The Celtics moved their game against the Atlanta Hawks originally scheduled that Sunday night at TD Garden to 1 p.m. that afternoon to allow the B's to play their makeup game at 7:30 p.m. that night. It will be the last game of the regular season for the Bruins.

Bruins team president Cam Neely thanked the Celtics in a statement:

"On behalf of the Boston Bruins I would like to thank Boston Celtics President Rich Gotham, as well as the Celtics organization, Atlanta Hawks, NBA and TD Garden for their flexibility moving the previously scheduled Celtics game on April 8th to a matinee. We are grateful for the flexibility and cooperation of all of these groups which made it possible for the NHL to reschedule our game against the Panthers to the evening of the April 8th."
