The Boston Bruins will take a stranglehold on the 2019 Stanley Cup Final if they beat the St. Louis Blues in Game 4 and take a 3-1 series lead Monday night.
Boston gave a tremendous bounce-back performance with a 7-2 victory in Game 3 at Enterprise Center, and now it's the Blues' turn to respond or their season will be on the brink of elimination Thursday at TD Garden.
The Bruins have been on an absolute roll away from home in the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs. They are 7-2 on the road, which includes a five-game win streak beginning with Game 4 of their second-round series versus the Columbus Blue Jackets.
One of the keys for the Blues in Game 4 is to stay out of the penalty box because the Bruins power play is on fire. Boston went 4-for-4 with the man advantage in Game 3, and the unit is converting at a 50 percent rate on the road in the playoffs.
