Sunday was a night to forget for the Boston Bruins as they were blown out by the Washington Capitals at TD Garden.

Without their top four defensemen, the B's were simply outclassed as they were only able to muster one goal in the 8-1 defeat. Craig Smith scored the lone Bruins goal while Conor Sheary (2), T.J. Oshie (2), Lars Eller (2), Nic Dowd, and Tom Wilson each put pucks past B's goaltender Dan Vladar.
