DeBrusk, Krejci won't play Wednesday vs. Lightning

HAGGERTY: Are Bruins playing to the personalities of their goalies? BRIGHTON, Mass – The beat goes on with the revolving door of injured Bruins. Rookie Jake DeBrusk and veteran center David Krejci, each with upper body injuries, missed practice Tuesday and have been ruled out for the game Wednesday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

MORE:

In Krejci's case, it's a re-aggravation of a previous upper-body injury that led him to miss time earlier this season. Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said Brad Marchand (upper and lower body) and David Backes (colon surgery) will be game-time decisions Wednesday and it looks good for Ryan Spooner to return. All practiced without restrictions Tuesday.

Another bit of good news was the return of winger Anders Bjork to practice at Warrior Ice Arena.  While it likely doesn’t mean a return is imminent Wednesday night, Bjork, 21, wearing the maroon non-contact jersey, made a step forward in his recovery from an undisclosed injury that led him to miss six games after absorbing a big hit from Toronto energy guy Matt Martin. Bjork stayed on the ice at the very beginning of practice but exited for the dressing room once the healthy Bruins players got into their normal drills and contact started up.
