There's no more room for error for the Boston Bruins. They must beat the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 6 of the first round Thursday night at TD Garden or their 2021-22 season will end in disappointment.

The B's were pushed to the brink of elimination with a Game 5 loss in Carolina two days ago.

Boston is making several lineup changes for Game 6, headlined by the return of veteran defenseman Hampus Lindholm. He missed the last three games after exiting Game 2 due to an upper body injury from a hard hit by Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov. Lindholm's return will result in Matt Grzelcyk leaving the lineup.

The Bruins are 2-0-0 with a 9-4 goal differential in home games this series. Boston has not failed to reach the second round since 2017, but that streak would end with a loss Thursday night.
