Jaroslav Halak isn't going anywhere.

The veteran goaltender signed a one-year extension with the Boston Bruins on Friday, the team announced. The deal is worth $2.25 million and assures one of the best goalie tandems in the league will stick together for at least another season.

With no NHL-ready prospects in the pipeline, this is a significant move for the B's. Halak has proven to be a premier backup and has helped tremendously in easing Rask's workload. 

Halak is 18-6-6 and boasts a .919 save percentage on the season for the B's. In 71 total games with Boston, the soon-to-be 35-year-old is 40-17-10 with a .921 save percentage.
