Morning Skate: Bull gang puts toy goat with Brady jersey on Zamboni

Here are all the links from around the hockey world, and what I’m reading while gearing up for the Super Bowl where Tom Brady goes from the greatest of all-time to immortal.

*Speaking of Tom Brady, I somehow missed this at TD Garden during last night’s game as the bull gang put a toy goat with a No. 12 Tom Brady jersey on the Zamboni as they were working the ice. Well done, boys…well done.

*In the interest of massive self-promotion, here’s our AT&T Hockey Show from Saturday morning on 98.5 the Sports Hub where we talked about all things Bruins and NHL. It’s now in podcast form and a must-listen for all those Bruins fans out there.

*The media covering the Montreal Canadiens is collectively calling for the Habs to throw the white flag up on the season, and start developing the young players. Hopefully Claude Julien can be a little better at that in Montreal than he was in his last few years in Boston, but that’s really not his strong suit in this humble hockey writer’s opinion.

*Local boy Jack Eichel talks to the Buffalo media about his appreciation for Tom Brady, which is not-so-shockingly massive.

*One of the great moments in minor league hockey occurred this weekend: Alfonso Ribeiro did the Carlton while dropping the ceremonial first puck for the Indy Fuel and Wheeling Nailers. That is good stuff.

*For something completely different: You’ve got to appreciate Natalie Portman returning to the SNL rap game to torch people that hate the prequels and Jar Jar Binks. By the way, you can put me into that category without question.
