Morning Skate: Golden Knights, Capitals ready to battle it out for Stanley Cup

Here are all the links from around the hockey world, and what I’m reading while I think Terry Rozier just missed another three-pointer while I just wrote this sentence.

*This is nightmare fuel for Boston sports fans watching LeBron James and PK Subban hug and high-five each other in the bowels of the Garden after last night’s Game 7 Celtics loss to the Cavaliers. Ouch, babe.

*William Karlsson has undergone an amazing transformation since coming to the Vegas Golden Knights from the Columbus Blue Jackets, and it will be on full display in the Cup Final.

*Alex Ovechkin is changing his free-wheeling, partying ways as he locks into concentration mode in Vegas for his first crack at a Stanley Cup.

*These videos of NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and prominent NHL owners testifying about concussions and CTE certainly is not great optically.

*The NHL is still accepting votes for the newly created Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award sponsored by the league.

*Good piece by Frank Seravalli on Vegas vying to be the first team since the 1972 Bruins to win a Cup without a captain.

*For something completely different: I’m with the voice of Batman here, as Ben Affleck did a great job as Bruce Wayne/Batman and it’s good news that it seems he wants to continue with it moving forward.
