Mike Reilly reportedly will remain a part of the Boston Bruins blue line.

The B's have re-signed the 28-year-old defenseman to a three-year contract with an average annual value of $3 million, per TSN's Pierre LeBrun.

Reilly was acquired from the Ottawa Senators for a 2022 third-round draft pick prior to last April's NHL trade deadline. In 55 games between Ottawa and Boston, he tallied 27 assists. Reilly had eight points with a career-high 21:04 time on ice in 15 games with the Bruins.

Boston brings back Reilly after losing fellow defensemen Kevan Miller to retirement and Jeremy Lauzon to the Seattle Kraken in the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft.
