Steve Carell joins ‘Team Jim', rooting for Bruins in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final

Ladies and gentlemen, Michael Scott has spoken.

Steve Carell took a moment to announce his allegiance in Game 7 of the 2019 Stanley Cup Final on Twitter. The actor, revered for his role as Michael Scott on the hit TV series "The Office", posted a picture of him wearing a Boston Bruins hat.

Apparently, he is joining "Team Jim," headed by John Krasinski who played Jim Halpert on the series.

Krasinski has been in an ongoing Twitter "feud" with Jenna Fischer, the actress that played his coworker and wife, Pam Beesly, on the show. Fischer, a St. Louis native, has been rooting hard for the Blues throughout their Cup run while the Boston-born Kransinski is a die-hard Bruins fan.

It's not a surprise that Carell is choosing to side with Krasinski. Not only was he born and raised in Massachusetts, but his character on "The Office" went out of his way to befriend Krasinski's on the show. It just seems too perfect that they would team up against Fischer ahead of Game 7.

But Fischer isn't relenting with this mini-rivalry, and took time to post this photoshopped picture of herself and Krasinski from a scene in "The Office."

Krasinski and other members of "The Office" cast have yet to weigh in on Game 7, but we certainly expect Krasinski to be active on Twitter following the game, win or lose. On way or another, this Twitter battle will come to an end once either the Bruins or Blues hoist the Stanley Cup.
