Tuukka Rask left the Bruins' game against the Blue Jackets in Columbus on Tuesday night only a minute and 12 seconds into the game when he took an elbow to the head from the Jackets' Emil Bemstrom.

No penalty was called on the play.

Rask went to the quiet room where he was checked for a concussion and Jaroslav Halak, who allowed six goals on Monday night in Boston's 6-5 shootout loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, replaced him. Coach Bruce Cassidy said after the game that Rask did indeed have a concussion.

Rask also had a concussion last January in the final game before the All-Star break.
