The Perfection Line came through Wednesday afternoon, and not a moment too soon.
The Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes were deep into the second overtime of Game 1 in their first-round Stanley Cup Playoff matchup when Patrice Bergeron buried the game-winning goal with 1:13 remaining.
Boston's "Perfection Line" helped set up Bergeron's fourth career playoff overtime goal, as Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak helped work the puck to the B's veteran near the right circle.

Bergeron fired a rocket to beat Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek and give Boston a much-needed 4-3 win, its first since arriving to the Toronto bubble after going 0-3 in round-robin play.

The Bruins don't have long to bask in victory, however: They'll turn around Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET to battle the Hurricanes in Game 2 at Scotiabank Arena.
