The Bruins are the fifth-most valuable franchise in the NHL, according to Forbes annual valuations of the league's teams.
The B's are valued a $925 million, up from $890 million last year when they were still in the No. 5 spot.
The New York Rangers at $1.55 billion, up 3 percent from a year ago, top the list a fourth consecutive year. The Rangers are followed by other Original Six teams: the Toronto Maple Leafs ($1.35 billion), the Montreal Canadiens ($1.3 billion) and the Chicago Blackhawks ($1.05 billion).
As for the top paid players, Forbes list has the Edmonton Oilers' Connor McDavid topping the list at $19.5 million a year, followed by the Maple Leafs' John Tavares ($17.3 million), Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price ($15.6 million), Alexander Ovechkin of the Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals ($14.5 million), the Pittsburgh Penguins' Sidney Crosby ($13.8 million).
It's a long way down the list to the Bruins' highest-paid player, center David Krejci at $7.25 million).
