Zdeno Chara exited Wednesday night's game vs the Avalanche with a lower-body injury.
Chara's left knee appeared to buckle on a play during the second period. He finished his shift before leaving the game.
Might be the play where Chara went down with an injury. Not a good look on that knee. pic.twitter.com/EuYblCreVX

Chara has had knee issues in the past. The 41-year-old suffered a torn left PCL in 2014.
After the game, coach Bruce Cassidy said he had little information other than Chara would be examined in the next day or two. He was unsure if the examination would take place in Dallas, where the team plays Friday night, or back in Boston.
