Death, taxes, and Tom Brady in the playoffs.

The former New England Patriots quarterback will embark on his quest for a seventh Super Bowl title when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the Washington Football Team on Saturday night. If Brady indeed makes his 10th Super Bowl appearance, he'll look to add a fifth MVP trophy to his mantle.

Oddsmakers apparently like his chances. Brady enters the postseason with the fifth-best betting odds to win the Super Bowl MVP award.

2021 NFL Mock Draft: Will Pats land on a QB in Round 1?

Here are the top five MVP favorites -- odds provided by our partner, PointsBet Sportsbook.

1. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs (+275)

2. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers (+500)

3. Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills (+1000)

4. Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans Saints (+1300)

5. Tom Brady, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1500)

... and if you want to get really crazy, you can place a wager on ex-Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski (+20000) to earn his first Super Bowl MVP award.

Given Brady's history, +1500 is some pretty solid value. Of course, he and the Buccaneers will have their work cut out for them just to make it to the Super Bowl.

That begins in the Wild Card round when Tampa Bay pays a visit to Washington. While the Football Team finished 7-9 on the campaign, they possess a tough defensive line that could make it a long night for Brady and Co.

As of now though, the Bucs are heavy favorites for the anticipated matchup.
