Beware, Celtics fans: 76ers' Ben Simmons hit his first NBA 3-pointer

Be afraid, Celtics fans. Be very afraid.

On Tuesday night, Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons did the unthinkable: he hit a three during an NBA game. Sure, it came during a preseason game against the Guangzhou Loong Lions, but it still sent the Wells Fargo Center into a frenzy.

Watch below:

What a moment.

Simmons was 0-for-17 from 3-point range in his NBA career prior to Tuesday night. Obviously, Celtics fans don't actually have a reason to be "afraid" just yet as Simmons still has plenty to prove from beyond the arc. But for their Eastern Conference rival, this is an extremely encouraging sign as the 23-year-old has been working on his 3-point shot all summer.

Who knows, maybe we'll see Simmons try to pull it off again vs. the Celtics during the season opener on Oct. 23.
